That girl

New hair inspiration?
I know her hair is probably fried, but it still looks SO best.
Bindi AND henna hands (before Madonna went Frozen, btw)

Hussein Chalayan Fall 2000.
Totally magic.

Brown & black no longer a faux-pas.

The forest for the trees.
And the trees are made of lace and leather.

Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri are really turning things around at Valentino.
Pure modern magical femininity.

I think the big trend for pre-fall is magical outerwear.

You would never have a dreary winter if you had this to wear everyday.

Jennifer Culp makes amazing metal jewelry. There’s something about her work that reminds me of the way that people were working in the Bauhaus workshops, and the quality and silhouette of her pieces feels immediately classic while appealing to a beautiful slightly futurist aesthetic. Not necessarily a “jeweler”, she is an artist working with metals and exploring subjects of women, sexuality and gender relations. That she does so while creating supremely beautiful pieces of jewelry is merely icing on the cake.
